Getting Ready for Halloween

About a week ago, Trevor and I broke out the Halloween decorations that I've had from years past. These decorations consisted of a pumpkin-shaped candy basket, a package of spiderweb fuzz, and a headband with antennas on it that have pumpkins on the end. When I realized how lame my decorations were, I decided this would be the year to get a few new things! So, we put the spiderweb stuff out on the porch and I went on a hunt for some new Halloween accessories! We looked at Target the other night when we went to buy a new game, but they didn't have much of anything. Then I went to the Dollar Tree last night and they had even less! I was afraid that I had waited too long and that all the cute decorations had been purchased. The nice lady at the Dollar Tree suggested I try ShopKo. I've never been one to shop there, but I thought I'd try my luck one last time! And I got lucky! Here are some of my finds:

A cute little decorative piece to hang on the hook above my stove:
A fake light-up pumpkin that you just plug into the wall (just in case we don't get around to carving our own this year!):
And this isn't for Halloween, but I really wanted something to hang outside on our door to welcome people, so I found this really cute Fall piece:
The best part is that everything was 50% off! :) I guess that's one bonus for waiting to shop after everyone else. I also purchased a package of Halloween caution tape that says "Caution: Enter if You Dare" that we'll probably put up for the trick-or-treaters! I was really happy to find some cute decorations for Halloween, and thanks to ShopKo, I got them at a bargain price!
